The Affiliated High School of Peking University's Dalton Academy is excited and proud beyond words with the recent news that one of our students received the prestigious Jardine Award (a full academic scholarship including international travel) to pursue computer science at education Trinity College, the University of Cambridge. Receiving this award requires drive, dedication and excellence and this particular student most certainly possesses those qualities. Congratulations to this most deserving student and all the wonderful people that aided her academic and life's journey, thus far.
The Jardine Foundation was set up in 1982 which offers qualified students from Asia full scholarships to study at Oxford and Cambridge Universities. The goal is to develop future leaders who will give back to the society. Since the launch of the Foundation, scholarships have been awarded to only 352 outstanding students from Cambodia, China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.
